If baby is engaged it’s normal to feel lots of pressure. It’s ok to be 4cm without contractions or pain. My last 3 I was 3-4 until labor actually started. You will likely know when. I was 2cm dilated and 60% effaced at my 36 week appt. Now I’m 38 weeks and still 2cm dilated but 90% effaced. I’ve also lost my mucus plug over a week ago and baby is super low. He’s just going to come whenever he feels like it. I don’t think it can really be predicted..
